Shown below are some pictures of some great bucks we have killed in the past.  These are by no means all of them.  In putting this together I find that some of the really good bucks are missing.  I'll try and round up the photos and add later.

Bob Clark killed this whopper 29 inch buck near timberline.  We glassed for 7 hours, finally spotting a buck we wanted.  I (jonesy) went around and drove the buck to Bob, who made a great shot on this tremendous buck.  Click here for full size.
Dan Sweeney killed this 32 inch buck in a rough nasty cliff area.

David Bibby and guide Grant Gertsch climbed one heck of a mountain in a snowstorm to kill this buck.  We spotted him from the road but couldn't get the horses up there, so they made the supreme effort and it paid off.

Ronnie Rector and Greg Dunn killed these 28 and 30 inch bucks within minutes of each other on a whopper cliff.  Ronnie's wounded 28 inch buck ran guide Sparky Wallace up a tree before we could finish him off.

Bill Woodin and I watched this buck with a spotting scope for over an hour at 50 yards.  Couldn't see his rack.  Finally he stood up, Bill shot, and the buck took off across the bare hillside, then did a suicide leap off a 100 foot cliff.  Luckily he landed on some soft dirt.  Buck took 3rd place Award in 1991.

Grover Graham killed this 30 inch buck on a running shot.  We had spotted this buck before the season and Grover was the lucky hunter.

Jim Windham killed this 31 1/2 inch buck the first year he hunted with me, 1985.  He has since hunted with me for 14 years and although he has killed some good ones, this is still a tough act to follow.

Ken Brown killed one of the prettiest deer I have ever seen.  We killed it in a heavy snowstorm at 50 yards and could barely see it.  27 inch non-typical.  Beautiful markings and rack.

Lou Dubois killed a nice 27 inch buck, with very unique antlers.  Each antler tine turned at right angles one inch short of the tip.

Phil Johnston killed this very heavy and high buck at 70 yards with his .454 Casull revolver.  Another example of a buck not having to be wide to be a tremendous trophy.

Ralph Baglino killed this 30 inch buck in a bad windstorm.  Jonesy got the kill on video tape.

Regina Solerno, the prettiest gal I ever took hunting, killed a beautiful 26 inch buck in a remote timberline bowl that we now call Gina Bowl.  We spotted the buck in his bed and she shot it with my .243 (hers had been stolen the week before the hunt) in the neck.  Click here to view full size.
Rich Cook killed one of the heaviest highest trophy 30 inchers we have ever killed.  Great buck!  1987

Robin Bechtel passed up some great bucks, had his trigger freeze up on a potential #4 B&C typical, and then finally killed this huge trophy buck with my .243. (his trigger action kept freezing up).  This buck took the first place award in 1991 as the biggest typical killed by an outfitted hunter.

Ronnie Rector killed this great 28 inch buck on a cliff.  When it fell it broke one fork off an antler.

Scott Cook killed his first mule deer on the first afternoon of his first day.  He started to pass it up, not being sure how big he should hold out for, but when it turned to run he said, "That's good enough".  The buck is 31 1/2 inches wide and took First Place Award in 1987 for the biggest typical killed by an outfitted hunter.
